Apple has recently made the announcement of providing the upgrade of iOS to iOS 5 Platform which is expected to be available to the users in the last quarter of 2011.
Following is the procedure for their device upgradation to the iOS 5 platform :
- The users should connect their iOS held devices to iTunes using their Mac or PC.
- After the device is connected with the PC or Mac, ensure an active internet connection is available for PC to capture updates. The new iOS can be updated using simple on-screen instructions from there on.
- The iOS should be upgraded in not more than 10-15 minutes.
Precaution must be taken during the upgradation and it should be taken care of that you do not upgrade it from any third party sources . It may affect the overall performance of the device in case it is affected with viruses as a leaked copy holds limited functionalities which may widely available to the third party sources.
