29th August 2012 is going to be the date when Samsung holds its special event known as Unpacked. Well, this is going to be the second Unpacked event this month. The first one will be held on 15th August 2012 and it is supposed to feature the launch of Galaxy Note 10.1 Slate. Samsung has announced the second Unpacked event will be held on 29th August 2012 right before the annual IFA show. The 2nd Unpacked event of this month is going to be the launch event for the much-awaited Galaxy Note 2.
Samsung’s official representatives have announced that the Unpacked event on 29th August 2012 will be the launch event of Galaxy Note 2. There have been a lot of rumors about Galaxy Note 2 lately and well, all of them would come to a close when the phone-tablet hybrid is launched towards the end of this month. Let us go through the rumored specifications of the phone which may be true.
5.5 inches Screen
The first Galaxy Note had a 5.3 inches screen and that was why it became one of the most talked phone. The big screen is going to get bigger and better. It is expected to have a .2 inch increase in the size which will make it a 5.5 inches screen. People who like big screens just cannot be disappointed by this phone if it comes with a bigger screen. I really think that this phone will have an increase in the screen size but we would have to wait for what Samsung eventually does.
The first Galaxy Note had a Dual-Core 1.4 Ghz processor so I guess we can expect a Quad-Core processor or a 1.7 Ghz or 2.0 Ghz processor. The big screen will require a good processor and that is why Galaxy Note 2 needs to have a great processor. It is expected to have one from the three which I have mentioned. Again, we just have to wait and see what development Samsung can bring in the processor section.
Android v4.1, Jelly Bean
I am quite sure about this. Galaxy Note 2 may have the latest Android in it. The Android v4.1, known as Jelly Bean is much smoother and faster than it previous versions. That is why, if Galaxy Note 2 comes with Jelly Bean and its own improved TouchWiz user interface, it can attract a lot of people. If it comes with Jelly Bean, it will be counted in the first few Jelly Bean devices.
